New music and updates from Metalworks Institute's Alumni Community in June 2020! As always, it's inspiring to see what our graduates are accomplishing in the industry!

PARTYNEXTDOOR has released the official video for his track “Savage Anthem”. Awesome to know that three Metalworks Institute graduates have credits on the track.

Angie Randisi (2018 graduate of our Professional Sound & Business (Studio Production Major) Diploma Program), Harley Arsenault and Greg Moffett (graduates of our Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program), all have Recording Assistant credits on the song and Greg also has an Assistant Mixer credit.

Toronto Sound created the sound design and music for the animated short "How to Float" by the newly formed Good Form Studio. This beautiful animation tackles the complex subject of anxiety and depression.

Toronto Sound co-founder Aaron Gaistman graduated from Metalworks Institute's Professional Sound (Audio Specialist) Diploma Program in 2010 and founded the premier audio company with Adam Clark just two years later. Shortly after opening, Aaron hired fellow Metalworks Institute graduates Cory Revesz (Professional Sound & Business (Studio Production Major) Diploma Program) and Quewin Warnasuriya (Professional Sound (Audio Specialist) Diploma Program), who has since become a Partner, to accommodate the company's growth. It's always great to see our graduates continuing to work together!

"How to Float" (which was recently chosen as a Vimeo Staff Pick!) is just the latest in their growing body of work. Be sure to watch!


US Gold Certified producer Akeel Henry, a graduate of our Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, co-produced the track "Say Less" from Eric Bellinger and Neiman J's first collaborative album 'Optimal Music' along with fellow producer DZL. Be sure to listen!


It's great to see two Metalworks Institute graduates credited on emerging artist Zambrazy's debut single "Hot Mess Express". The song was produced by Nick Giansante (Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program and Music Mixing & Mastering Post-Graduate Diploma Program) and mixed by Ben Zweig (Professional Sound (Audio Specialist) Diploma Program and Music Mixing & Mastering Post-Graduate Diploma Program). We love seeing our Alumni community continuing to work together! Be sure to listen.

Protest the Hero have released their much-anticipated fifth studio album "Palimpsest". Awesome to know that acclaimed recording engineer Darren 'Jeter' Magierowksi, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, has recording engineering credits on the new album!

Up and coming artist and music producer Denice Badua, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, has released a brand new single "Falling". This lush R&B tune is about falling in love and debating about whether or not to confess your feelings. Be sure to listen!

KADEEMA is a Canadian alt rock duo composed of Tal Vaisman, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, and Jimmy Chauveau.

The band recently released a new single 'What Are We Not Saying Now?' which has been featured on Spotify Canada's 'New Music Friday' and 'Rock Your Block' playlists as well as Amazon Music's Fresh Alternative playlist.

The band shared the new tune to their instagram with an important message about mental health "Please remember. You are not alone, Reach out if you’re suffering." Don't forget to watch the video!

Rahul Sathu, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, has just released another awesome collab, "THODA" with Raftaar, an award-winning rapper and judge on popular television shows "Dance India Dance Battle Of The Champions" and "MTV Hustle". Be sure to listen!

Colton Maddigan, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Professional Sound & Business (Studio Production Major) Diploma Program, recorded and mixed Veinduze's latest single "Jerry Loom”. You can spot Colton at the console when you watch the official music video! The video takes viewers behind the scenes with the band at Chalet Studios, capturing authentic moments in the life of an up-and-coming indie band.

Up-and-coming Toronto-based singer-songwriter Taya Marquis, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Entertainment Business Management Diploma Program, has just released a brand new music video for her song "CHOSEN".

Award-winning musician and host of Classic Hits Coast 101.1 Paul Brace, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Professional Sound (Audio Specialist) Diploma Program, has released a new song and lyric video. "Sleep On It" is a collaboration between Vibe City Studios, Clarke Media Design and Rogers TV. This is the second single from Paul's upcoming record due to be released this summer! Stay tuned.

Tyler Twigger, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Music Performance & Technology Diploma Program, is the drummer for the indie pop rock group 'Incase We Crash'. The band has just released a brand new single "Wolf Boy". Remember to watch the official music video!

Kemo Deepnarine AKA Kenjiboiii, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, has released a new single called "Vanish". "Vanish" is streaming everywhere so be sure to listen!

Anthony Pansino, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Professional Sound (Audio Specialist) Diploma Program, mixed Zafer's latest single "Stars".

Willis Eright AKA Will Ryte, a 2019 graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program and current student in our post-graduate Music Mixing & Mastering Diploma Program, has released a new album "Nothing In Common" featuring fellow MMM student Alex Gadoury. The album has been out for a few weeks now and Shifter Magazine has ranked the album among the best albums of the year so far!

Richard Bradley, Founder of Long Range Mastering and a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, mastered The Duds' debut album "These Words I Can't Forget" a lush collection of pop tunes influenced by band members Melanie O'Brien and Phil Goodridge's musical theatre background.

Jesse Read, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Entertainment Business Management Diploma Program is the founder of Dropout Entertainment - a Toronto-based independent music promoter dedicated to sharing the songs and stories of Canadian artists and the company behind the Canadian Independent Music Video Awards. While we have all been social distancing, Dropout Entertainment has been producing a series of live-streamed at-home concerts called #QuarantineSongs. Check for upcoming shows and watch past performances here!

Mark Cloutier, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Professional Sound & Diploma Program, produced 333Zilla's latest EP "EDEN 2".
