About this Advanced Diploma Program
The Professional Sound & Business (Live Production Major) Advanced Diploma Program is designed for students who wish to target their career toward both the business side and the creative and technical side of the live event industry. With in-depth studies encompassing all aspects of live event production and the art of music business management, this engaging program strikes an excellent balance between technical sound and lighting skills, and the business principles associated with both the music and live event and entertainment industries.
Graduates of Metalworks Institute's Professional Sound & Business (Live Production Major) Advanced Diploma Program are eligible for a Degree Pathway into Yorkville University's Bachelor of Creative Arts Degree.

Degree Pathways
Metalworks Institute has partnered with Yorkville University to offer Degree Pathways.
Students who successfully complete the Professional Sound & Business (Live Production Major) Degree Pathway will graduate with an Advanced Diploma from Metalworks Institute and a Bachelor of Creative Arts Degree from Yorkville University. Upon completion of the Degree Pathway, international students will be eligible to apply for a post-graduate work permit.
