New West Takes Centre Stage

Toronto cinematic indie rock collective New West is going on tour starting with a headlining show at Toronto's Opera House on December 15th, 2023. The band's success can be attributed to their viral indie hit "Those Eyes," which gained traction on TikTok and led to a series of singles. Despite signing with Giant Music/Republic, New West maintained their DIY vision, with members acting as multi-instrumentalists and Riley Bell (Professional Sound And Business 2011), who won the 2018 Recording Engineer of the Year JUNO, also known as Kala Wita. The band's full-length debut album, "Based On A True Story…," was released on Oct. 20, featuring the iconic track "Those Eyes" alongside other impressive singles. Their success reflects the power of a single song in the digital age and their commitment to artistic excellence.
