Nathan Jackson Has a Hand In One Of The Biggest Pop Culture Phenomena Of The Year

Metalworks Institute instructor and alumnus Nathan Jackson (Audio Engineering & Production 2019) has been making his mark as an in-demand Audio Engineer.  Nathan's work as a Foley Editor & Recordist—which involves editing, synchronizing, and recording sound effects—plays a crucial role in creating immersive and eye-catching shows and movies. Nathan has had the opportunity to work on Netflix’s “Wednesday,” Hulu’s “The Hardy Boys,” CBC’s “Diggstown,” CTV’s “Acting Good,” Family Channels “The Next Step,” and many more.

Along with his work in post-production, Nathan has earned recognition within the music industry as Assistant Engineer on Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar’s 2021 JUNO-nominated album “The Reckless One” and Spencer Mackenzie’s 2023 JUNO-nominated Blues Album ‘Preach to My Soul’.

Congratulations to Nathan Jackson on his outstanding achievements. We at Metalworks Institute are excited to see what the future holds for this talented and accomplished graduate and instructor.
