Metalworks Institute Alumni Recognized In Grammy Nominations

Several Metalworks Institute alumni are being recognized and celebrated at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards. 

Angie Randisi (Audio Production & Engineering 2018) is credited as an engineer on “The Love Album: Off the Grid” nominated for best Urban Contemporary Album. Last year, Angie was recognized as a member of GRAMMY NextGen. Angie’s contributions to have not gone unnoticed, her excellence in engineering has earned her recognition as she continues to grow in the music industry.  

Noel Cadastre (Audio Production & Engineering 2006), Harley Arsenault (Audio Production & Engineering 2015), Greg Moffett (Audio Production & Engineering 2010) and current Metalworks Institute student Jahmilah Barnier (Audio Production & Engineering) have all earned credits on Drake’s “Her Loss” album, which is nominated for under the Best Rap Album category and includes the track “Spin Bout U” which received a nomination in the Best Melodic Rap category and “Rich Flex” which was nominated for Best Rap Song.

The GRAMMY Awards is one of the most prestigious events in the music industry, highlighting incredible talent and innovation within the field. Metalworks is proud of everything these alumni have done thus far in their career and celebrates not just their academic achievements, but the resilience, determination and growth that have molded them into the accomplished individuals they are today.
