Metalworks Alumna Joins Jonas Brothers on New Album
Metalworks Institute is proud to celebrate the success of alumna Desiree Da Silva (Audio Production & Engineering 2023, Music Mixing & Mastering 2024), who has earned recording and assistant engineering credits on multiple tracks from the Jonas Brothers’ highly anticipated new album, Greetings from Your Hometown.
Desiree’s work is featured on several standout songs from the record, including Love Me to Heaven, No Time to Talk, Heat of the Moment and more. In her creative role, Desiree supported the production team by assisting in recording sessions and contributing to the engineering process that shaped the sound of these tracks.
When asked about her experience working on an international release, Desiree said:
“You don’t have to look to the States to find success in the music industry. Being part of this album while staying rooted in Canada proves that our studios and engineers are on par with the best in the world. This is a win for Canadian music.”
Landing credits on this standout album marks an exciting milestone in Desiree’s career. It reflects both her technical expertise and her ability to collaborate within high-level studio environments. Desiree’s journey is an inspiring example of where skill and dedication can lead.
We look forward to following her continued success and can’t wait to hear what projects she works on next. Congratulations, Desiree!
