Metalworks Institute's Diploma Programs parallel the growing and shifting demands of today's entertainment industry.
As the recording and entertainment industries evolve, our programs offer students an intense and comprehensive educational experience, fully designed to meet the demands of the contemporary landscape. This allows students to stay current with the rapidly changing technologies and trends that shape the structure of our industry. It is increasingly important for entry-level professionals to have an extensive and diversified understanding of a wide range of subjects related to their career path, and we are proud to offer that knowledge for a variety of entertainment disciplines.
In order to best serve our students, our Diploma Programs are offered in three formats
On-Campus Format
On-Campus Diploma Programs are 100% in-person with all classes taught at our campus in Mississauga.
Online Format
Online Diploma Programs are 100% online. All classes are taught remotely and include both synchronous and asynchronous material.
Hybrid Format
Hybrid Diploma Programs are taught through both online and in-person classes at our campus in Mississauga.
Audio Production & Engineering Diploma
Learn the fundamental and advanced audio theory, as well as the production skill-sets required to succeed in the recording industry, the film and television post-production industry, and today’s other high-tech audio environments.

Music Performance Diploma
Designed by musicians, for musicians, our Music Performance Diploma Program is built on a unique concept: to offer the complete range of industry knowledge required to take the art of contemporary music performance to the professional level.
Music Performance & Technology Diploma
Learn to perfect your business and music performance skills and master the technologies and computer applications related to your principal instrument. This Diploma Program is open to guitarists, piano/keyboard players, drummers, bass players, and vocalists. Other instruments may be accepted.
Electronic Music Production Diploma
