Angie Randisi gets International Recognition

Huge congratulations to MWI Alumna, Angie Randisi (Professional Sound & Business, Studio Production Major 2018), who was recently named the 2022 Outstanding Graduate in a Computer or Information Technology Program by Career Colleges Ontario.  Angie has been making her mark in the global hip-hop scene as an in-demand audio engineer and is featured in the Spring 2022 issue of XXL magazine’s ‘Behind the Boards’ article. Angie pursued the Professional Sound and Business (Studio Production Major) diploma program at Metalworks Institute, studying both the business and technical aspects of the music industry, setting her up for success as she was recruited to work alongside industry icon, Noah “40” Shebib at SOTA Studios in Toronto. Her career took her to work on PARTYNEXTDOOR’s third album PARTYMOBILE, debuting at #8 on the US Billboard 200 chart.   Angie was ranked in the Top 5 Woman Producers of 2021, nominated for Forbes 30 Under 30 list, and achieved a #1 single Billboard with Lil Baby and Nicki Minaj with hit Do We Have A Problem?Angie now works full time as Grammy-winning artist Lil Baby’s main engineer. Angie’s advice to anyone considering a music career is to seek out opportunities as they are sometimes hidden, and to really understand your own interests and aptitude when choosing a path.
