Alumni Update: Riley Bell, Professional Sound and Business, Studio Production Major
Graduated From: Professional Sound & Business Diploma (Studio Production Major) (2012)
Two weeks after graduating from the Professional Sound & Business (Studio Major) program at Metalworks Institute, Riley Bell began to intern at Revolution Recording. He was then hired to join the team as a junior engineer, and went on to be a full-time staff engineer.
During his time at Revolution Recording, Riley gained credits working with high profile acts such as Charlie Watts of The Rolling Stones, The Weeknd, Passion Pit, Nelly Furtado, and many more. Riley spent a total of three years at Revolution Recording before deciding to move on to producing and writing full time.
His first major cut was Chris Brown’s Zero, a single from his seventh studio album Royalty that was released on September 18, 2015 by RCA Records. Riley is looking forward to 2016 and the release of additional singles he’s worked on.
May 12 2016 Update:
Riley received a gold record, signifying 500,000 units sold in the U.S., for his contribution to Royalty.
