Alumni Update: Manuel Seider, Audio Production and Engineering

Manuel Seider graduated from Metalworks Institute’s Audio Production and Engineering Program in 2011. The summer of 2014 will be very busy for Manuel as he will be working at the Harbourfront Centre, a bold and innovative force in Canada’s cultural scene, introducing audiences to brilliant and new artists and art forms from around the world. Over the past few weeks, Manuel has been a part of the team at Harbourfront Centre, setting up the West Jet stage and the Redpath Stage in preparation for this summer’s lineup of events.

Manuel will be working as the audio visual assistant for the events at the Redpath stage throughout the summer. The lineup for the season includes a variety of music festivals in addition to regular summer events like DJ Deep Fried Fridays which brings together Toronto’s hottest DJ’s and pairs them up with local gourmet food vendors from the city. The Soundclash Music Awards will also host their finalists for this year’s annual live music competition featuring cutting-edge, forward thinking artists from all genres. Finalists will perform on the Redpath Stage during Harbourfront Centres Canada Day Extravaganza running June 27th to July 1st.
