Alumni Update: Kathryn Hummel, Entertainment Business Management

Metalworks Institute graduate Kathryn Hummel completed the Entertainment Business Management Program in 2006 and went on to start Hummel Entertainment. With a focus on artist management, grant writing and digital marketing, Hummel Entertainment helps shape developing artists in diverse musical genres throughout both the Canadian and international music industry.
Hummel Entertainment’s current client list includes award winning artists Hey Romeo, Tenille, The Orchard, Chris Assaad and Royalty Records Inc. In 2012 Hummel Entertainment was nominated for Management Company of the year at the Canadian Country Music Association Awards.
On Friday September 4th 2015, Hummel Entertainment will be celebrating its 10th year anniversary at the Rivoli in Toronto. The evening will feature performances by Jeff Beadle, Chris Assaad, DJ Dwight and special guest Mary Simon of Mississippi Bends.
