Alumni Update: John Benz, Show Production and Event Management
Graduated From: Show Production And Event Management Diploma (2011)
John Benz graduated from the Show Production and Event Management program in 2011. Shortly after completing the program he was given the opportunity to assist with the construction of the new Violet’s Venue located in Barrie, Ontario. John was an integral part of the audio, lighting and staging set up in the project that took about one year to complete. John is currently working as the head of audio and lighting at Violet’s Venue, “Primarily hosting live blues concerts, Violet’s Venue is showcasing international and national artists in an extensively remodelled venue.”
