Alumni Update: Evan Stewart, Audio Production and Engineering

Evan Stewart graduated from Metalworks Institute’s Audio Production and Engineering Program in December of 2013. After completing the program, Evan secured a position working with Noah “40” Shebib where he spent many overnights in studio as an intern with OVO Sound/Evdon Music/Carson Studios.

Evan is now an official member of the OVO team and has been working on multiple projects. He was recently a part of studio sessions with Noah at Metalworks Studios and received an assistant engineering credit on Action Bronson’s song “Actin Crazy” off the album Mr. Wonderful which debuted last week. Additionally, Evan received eight engineering credits on Canadian singer/songwriter and OVO artist PARTYNEXTDOOR‘s first studio album “PARTYNEXTDOOR Two”.

Evan was recently in Los Angeles working for two months with OVO artist OB O’Brien and worked as an assistant engineer and mix assistant on Drake’s latest release “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late”.
