Desiree Da Silva Shines on Jonas Brothers’ A Very Jonas Christmas Movie Soundtrack

Metalworks Institute is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of alumna Desiree Da Silva (Audio Production & Engineering 2023, Music Mixing & Mastering 2024), who contributed as an assistant engineer on the soundtrack for the Jonas Brothers’ holiday film, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie. This project adds to Desiree’s growing portfolio of high-profile work in the music industry and highlights her versatility as an audio professional.

Desiree currently works at Orange Lounge Studios in Toronto, where she has supported the production of numerous tracks for a variety of artists, gaining hands-on experience in engineering and collaborating on commercial music projects. In addition to contributing to the Jonas Brothers’ most recent album, Greetings From Your Hometown, her credits also include assistant mix engineering on “Edge of Falling” and “One Way Love” by PAMÉ, and engineering on Alessia Cara’s new track, “Clean.”

Desiree is consistently recognized for her leadership and advocacy in the music community, having co-founded the National Student Chapter of Women in Music in Canada during her time at Metalworks. She was also the recipient of the Outstanding Graduate Award at the 2024 Career Colleges Ontario Awards.
