About the Scholarship

The Slaight Family Scholarship is awarded to two deserving students with aspirations of excelling in the music industry. The Scholarship entitles the recipients to one year of tuition for any campus, online or hybrid delivery program at Metalworks Institute. Other education related costs, including textbooks, supplies, housing or any other fees associated with the program are not included.

ABOUT THE SLAIGHT FAMILY FOUNDATION
Established in 2008, the Slaight Family Foundation is committed to making a difference. The Foundation supports projects related to health care, social service initiatives, the arts, at-risk youth as well as providing aid to disadvantaged countries. To date, the Slaight Family Foundation has supported over 75 projects within Canada and overseas, enabling health research and innovative advancements in health care, assisting with programs and services to improve the lives of at-risk youth, encouraging new works of art, providing bursaries and endowment for students in need of financial support to continue their studies and providing the basic necessities of life in developing countries.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Slaight Family Scholarship Award, an applicant must:

Be a Canadian resident.

Citizenship Status

Have sincere enthusiasm, passion and ambition to succeed in the music industry.

Eligibility Status

Meet Metalworks Institute’s program eligibility requirements.

4. Attach a brief on why you are interested in studying at Metalworks Institute and how your studies will contribute to your future career
