Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Student Recognition Entrance Scholarship, applicants must:
Application Status
Must currently be or have previously been a Youth In Care with Children’s Aid Society within Ontario
Entrance Status
Must have applied or be enrolled in a diploma program at Metalworks Institute
The Metalworks Institute Children’s Aid Society Scholarship helps youth in care attain their college diploma with funding in the amount of $7,500. This scholarship was established to support local youth in government care with demonstrated merit toward success in their post-secondary studies.
Requirements
- Students must submit a letter of reference from their case worker
- Students must submit a copy of their high school transcript
