Our highly anticipated Music Performance & Technology Program audition dates have been announced! This groundbreaking curriculum is taking Canadian music education to a whole new level. Admission to the program is limited and based on the audition and interview results of prospective students.

Designed for Musicians, the five Music Performance & Technology Program are built on a unique concept: To offer the complete range of industry knowledge required to take the art of music performance to a professional level. With flexibility and space for personal style, students learn to perfect their business and music performance skills as they master the technologies and computer applications related to their major.

Deadline for MPT Program Application for September 2011 Start Date

Monday, May 2nd, 2011
By this date, all applicants will be notified that either:
a) They have been accepted into the Music Performance & Technology Program
b) They have been accepted to the Waiting List for the Music Performance & Technology Program
c) They have not been accepted into the Music Performance & Technology Program

Monday, September 12th – Friday, September 16th, 2011
MPT Program Orientation Week
During this week, students will be introduced to MWI’s facilities and staff, academic policies and procedures as well as their classmates and the MPT faculty. Students will also audition for first year ensemble placement during this week. It is extremely important that all students attend the orientation.
