Gary Slaight inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame!

Metalworks congratulates Canadian philanthropist and great music man Gary Slaight on his well-deserved induction into Canada’s Walk of Fame!

Gary’s impact can be seen in all corners of the Canadian music ecosystem, as well as in health care. Through his tremendous support of countless music initiatives, as well as innumerable health care causes, Gary has left his indelible mark, including the impact the Slaight Family Foundation has right here at Metalworks Institute. Every year the Slaight Family Foundation generously awards a full-tuition scholarship to two deserving Metalworks Institute students with aspirations of excelling in the music industry, without the necessary supports to do so. These awards have been life-changing and will never be forgotten by the recipients, or our school.
