Darron Chin-Quee

About Instructor Darron Chin-Quee

Mr. Chin-Quee is a Professional Engineer and has over 30 years of engineering consulting experience in the fields of noise and vibration and has provided design guidance for both building design and environmental assessments on projects throughout the world. Darron is a respected specialist and one of the first LEED® accredited professionals with expertise in acoustics.

His prior experience includes spaces and buildings focused on digital media, entertainment, auditorium, and broadcast / studio facility design. These range from small studios to large sound stages for TV and Film but also encompass performing arts halls, institutional auditoria, cinema, outdoor amphitheater / concert venues, radio and TV broadcast spaces and spaces where acoustical considerations are critical to the proper functionality of the space. He is passionate about teaching having previously taught Math and Physics at Centennial College early in his career and always welcomes the opportunity to learn from and share his considerable knowledge with his students.
