Guest Lecture – Nov 1st, 2010: Hockey Agent Superstar at Newport Sports Agency – Don Meehan
Don Meehan founded Newport Sports Agency Inc. in 1981, and since has established the company as the most successful player agency in the hockey industry worldwide.
A graduate of the Faculty of Law from McGill University, Don has guided the careers of some of the greatest players, including perennial NHL all-stars Pat Lafontaine, Wendel Clark, Al MacInnis, Curtis Joseph, and Trevor Linden.
Don has been recognized by the Sporting News as one of the 100 most influential people in sport, by the Hockey News as one of the 100 people of power and influence in hockey, and by the Globe & Mail as one of the 25 most influential people in Canadian sport.
The presentation is open to the community and will be held in our Lecture Hall at 7:00 pm
