Alumni Update: Keegan Boldin & Yanni Caldas Engineer for the Ontario Songwriter Challenge

Just a few days after finishing their exams, two of Metalworks Institute’s most recent graduates were already busy in the studio. Keegan Boldin and Yanni Caldas, who just finished the Audio Production & Engineering program, engineered for the third annual Ontario edition of the Canadian Songwriter Challenge at Metalworks Studios.

The Canadian Songwriter Challenge invites Music Industry Associations from each province to program unique songwriting retreats to develop emerging writers. After receiving over 300 applications the top 6 musicians were chosen to participate in co-writing, recording, and mentoring sessions with industry professionals.

This year’s mentors were the notable Bill Bell, Adrian Eccleston, and Robyn Dell’Unto.

Both Yanni & Keegan have returned to Metalworks Institute to further hone their skills in our Music Mixing & Mastering Diploma Program.
