  • Diamond-certified audio engineer Noel Cadastre, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, has engineering credits on Drake's latest release "Scary Hours 2" which has dominated the charts since it dropped earlier this month. Drake has once again made history with this EP, becoming the first solo artist to place at Nos. 1, 2, and 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart as both a recording artist and songwriter. Congratulations to all on another incredible global achievement!

    Devontée Woe, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, was featured in the RBCxMusic commercial that premiered during the 63rd Grammy Awards. The commercial was filmed at Metalworks Studios and promotes RBCxMusic's FirstUp program – a performance series to support and promote Canadian emerging artists.     Two Metalworks Institute graduates contributed to the creation of Chxn Hundal's latest release "Sunrise". The smooth downtempo single was produced and mixed by Shaan Thiara, the founder of Ennea Records and a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, and mastered by Ben Zweig, founder of Ben Zweig Productions and a graduate of our Professional Sound (Audio Specialist) Diploma Program and our Music Mixing & Mastering Post-Graduate Diploma Program.  Be sure to listen to the new song!

    Singer-songwriter Joéllen, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Music Performance & Technology (Vocal Major) Diploma Program, has released a new single "Stay In Luv". Be sure to stream "Stay In Luv" wherever you get your music!

    Rob Wilson, founder of Cats Cove Media and a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, composed the film score for "Mya", a short indie film about mental health directed by Deepa Mahanti. ⁣The music is now available exclusively on Bandcamp.

    Press It Founder & CEO Phil Kluba, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, produced MONOWHALES' Daytona Beach Virtual Release Party which premiered live-online this month. The band chatted with Chrissy Newton about the making of their new album "Daytona Beach". In case you missed it, you can still watch the interview on YouTube.

    Accomplished musician Stephan Di Mambro, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, is a member of Toronto's "Pyramid Theorem" which was selected as Earshot Distro's "Earshot Artist Of The Week" in the first week of March. Earshot announced their selection on Instagram, telling followers:

    "[Pyramid Theorem's] most recent album, 'Beyond The Exosphere', has the band taking their well-honed Prog Metal even further and to greater effect."
