Award-winning songwriter and music producer David Mohacsi, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, worked as a music recordist on the documentary "There Are No Fakes", which has been nominated for six Canadian Screen Awards! Congratulations!
Tim Oxford, a graduate of Metalworks Institute’s Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, is the drummer for Arkells, and they have released a new song and music video - "You Can Get It Feat. K. Flay".
Producer and audio engineer Derrick Hou AKA Derrick Who, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program and valedictorian for the graduating class of 2019, recorded and mixed Liyah's debut single "Always There" which has passed over 600K views on YouTube.
Lucas Di Mascio, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program, is a member of the heavy metal band Malacoda (Vocals/Keyboards) and they have released a brand new EP titled Crawling Chaos, which was recorded and mixed by Lucas himself. The much-anticipated 4-track EP is a return to the band’s more cinematic and gothic roots as heard on Ritualis Aeterna (2016) as well as a deeper exploration of melodic vocal hooks as heard on their self-titled debut (2014).
Artist, producer, and engineer Will Ryte, a graduate of Metalworks Institute's Audio Production & Engineering Diploma Program and post-graduate Music Mixing & Mastering Diploma Program, has been building his repertoire with a steady stream of hip hop/melodic trap singles. Recently, his single "Don't Slip" surpassed over 500K streams on Spotify.
Deion Frizzell, a 2018 graduate of Metalworks Institute's Professional Sound & Business (Studio Production Major) Diploma Program, has released a new hip-hop single "Both Sides".
