Shin Kamiyama Engineers The Weeknd’s Latest Album

Metalworks Institute alum Shin Kamiyama (Audio Production & Engineering 2009) continues to make waves in the music industry, contributing his engineering expertise to The Weeknd’s highly anticipated new album Hurry Up Tomorrow. Having previously collaborated with The Weeknd, Shin’s continued partnership with the artist highlights his established reputation and technical prowess. Metalworks Institute also congratulates The Weeknd, who has recorded at Metalworks Studios in years past, on the release of Hurry Up Tomorrow, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.

Since graduating from Metalworks, Shin has worked with numerous influential artists across various genres, such as Ariana Grande, Future, Calvin Harris, and Nicki Minaj. Shin continues to solidify his place in the industry with credits on multiple JUNO award winning and GRAMMY nominated projects. His contributions to this album are a testament to his ability to push creative boundaries while delivering exceptional sound.
