About the Scholarship

The Tourism Recovery Scholarship provides recipients with a $10,000 tuition scholarship towards any campus or hybrid diploma or advanced diploma program that is geared towards training students to fill technical roles within the culturally and economically important Canadian Live Events industry. This scholarship is jointly funded by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario and Metalworks Institute. The Tourism Recovery Scholarship is open to all Canadian Citizen and Permanent Residents. Students are still responsible for other education related costs, including the balance of tuition, textbooks, supplies, housing and any other fees associated with the program.

  • Professional Sound & Business (Live Production Major)
  • Professional Sound (Audio Specialist)
  • Stage Lighting and Video

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Tourism Recovery Scholarship, an applicant must:
