The release of $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, the highly anticipated new collaborative album by Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR, is generating excitement among fans worldwide. Metalworks Institute congratulates Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR on their continued success on music charts around the world, and is also proud to recognize alumni Noel Cadastre, Harley Arsenault, Jad El Khoury, and Santiago Echeverri Buitrago for their contributions to the recording.
Noel Cadastre (Audio Production & Engineering 2006) and Harley Arsenault (Audio Production & Engineering 2015) played key roles as engineers and producers on the project, and Jad "OUPSiNG" El Khoury (Audio Production & Engineering 2021, Music Mixing & Mastering 2022), contributed mixing assistance on multiple tracks. Between their technical expertise and attention to detail, each engineer has earned their esteemed reputations at OVO Sound. Their work on this latest album is a testament to their continued efforts in the Canadian music industry. Joining Noel, Harley, and Jad in the album credits is Santiago Echeverri Buitrago (Professional Sound & Business [Studio Production Major] 2022, Music Mixing & Mastering 2023), who added his talents as an assistant engineer on the album.
Additionally, multiple songs from the album were mixed in Metalworks Studios' very own Studio 2, adding a special connection between the album and our world-class facilities.
