Promotion & Publicity For Musicians


This course will provide students with a broad introduction to the concepts of promotion and publicity for musicians. During this course students will explore the concepts of internet marketing and social networking including search engine positioning, logos, branding and sponsorship, publicity, soliciting media using electronic press kits, press releases; the importance of media interviews and promotional public appearances, managing resource databases and other widely used methods to develop the student’s career as a musician.
