The 2024 Mississauga Music Awards are shining a spotlight on the incredible talent emerging from our local music scene, and this year, graduates from Metalworks Institute are making their mark with impressive nominations. The awards celebrate the creativity and hard work of artists in various genres, and we’re thrilled to see our alumni recognized for their contributions.
Among the nominees, standout artists like Jenna, Headcreeps, and 6IX PAL MUNDO were celebrated in categories such as Emerging Talent of the Year, Musician of the Year, and Best New Group, respectively. Each artist/group offers their own unique sound and contributes to a diverse variety of talent. From melodic vocals and drums, to heavy-hitting heavy metal, to energetic reggaeton performances, we are proud to see a range of styles represented at this year’s awards.
