Alumni Update: Thomas Barrie, Audio Production and Engineering
Graduated From: Audio Production & Engineering Diploma (2014)
Thomas Barrie graduated from Metalworks Institute’s Audio Production and Engineering Program in 2014. Since having completed the program, Thomas has been hired to work at bb Blanc, an audio visual company providing both high-level audio visual and unique entertainment solutions to Canadian hospitality, corporate and entertainment markets. Thomas has been a part of the setup, tear down, sound, video and lighting crew at corporate events, conferences and weddings.
Thomas also co-manages record label, Major League Recordings. Based in Toronto, Major League Recordings gives talented up and coming artists a chance to share their music through online distribution with iTunes and Beatport as well as live at local Toronto venues. Major League Recordings was recently featured in DJ Mag Canada for their involvement in the Toronto Producers Group compilation album and have events coming up throughout 2015 at some of Toronto’s top venues including The Guvernment and The Hoxton.
