The talent produced at Metalworks Institute is in demand and we take it upon ourselves to act as a liaison between our graduates and our professional network that is 30 years in the making.
We enable direct access to employers and provide students with guidance and resources so they can make rewarding career decisions.
1. In attendance
Students are surrounded by successful industry professionals every day. The contacts that are made while in attendance are invaluable and our Career Services personnel are committed to help maximize and manage our students’ professional networks. Exciting volunteer opportunities are also reserved for current students. Participating in these hands-on professional projects results in real world credit and experience. Students get familiar with the business and communication systems that underlie their art in a professional environment. While in attendance, they learn to succeed in a real world simulation to ensure ease in the transition from student life to the professional world.
2. After Graduation
Your educational experience does not end with your final exams. Our online Career Centre is a free, easy and convenient career development resource that is available to all Metalworks Institute graduates. As well as providing a contact database, we are partnered with some of the industry’s leading organizations to offer exclusive employment opportunities to Metalworks graduates. Our registered industry employers can post and update job and internship opportunities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As a graduate, you can access their listings. Upload your resume and cover letter which will be automatically available for review by employers in your field of study.
