Metalworks Institute faculty member, Peter ‘Stoy’ Stoynich has achieved what many of his Show Production Systems students dream to accomplish. Stoy is one of Canada’s most respected and talented live sound engineers. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario (Bachelor of Music), Stoy’s first gig was as Head Audio Technician at Western’s Talbot Theatre. Recently, Stoy announced that he has accepted engineering positions for a number of upcoming high profile live productions. MPG is announced as the Production Supplier for Bayfest

Metalworks Production Group recently became the official production supplier for Bayfest, one of Canada’s largest outdoor music festivals. The annual event takes place in Sarnia and is a two-week festival that features acclaimed performers in all genres of music. The Festival was founded in 1999. At the time, it consisted of only one performance, but over the years it has grown and now attracts huge audiences and international tourists.
