With the live entertainment and special event industries evolving at an unprecedented pace, our Show Production & Event Management Program presents an incomparable opportunity to learn the fundamental skills and perspectives required to plan, manage and produce shows for a broad range of live entertainment industry applications. Our exclusive partnership with Metalworks Production Group provides an unrivaled learning environment, with access to leading industry equipment and facilities, all designed to prepare students for future opportunities in the production of music concerts, corporate events, theatrical productions, trade shows, exhibitions, conferences and multi-media presentations.
Metalworks Institute’s Lighting & System Installation workshops, held within our Show Production Lab, give students exceptional experience on lighting systems from Martin, ETC and GrandMA as well as with the engineering of rigging, sound, lighting, staging, and video systems.
Classes include topics such as: Show Production Systems, Live Sound, Lighting Principles and Operation, Event Production & Management, System Installation, Special Effects, Acoustics, Digital Audio, Electricity & Electronics, System Maintenance, Agreements and Contracts and Show System Design.
This one year program features a combination of lectures and technical education labs and provides the student with over 1000 hours of instruction and preparation.
