Alumni Update: Dustin Cowan, Show Production and Event Management
Graduated From: Show Production And Event Management Diploma (2012)
Dustin Cowan graduated from the Show Production & Event Management program in 2012. After trying to find the perfect job, Dustin decided to stop his search and create the exact position he was looking for. He went on to start his own company, Cowan Entertainment in 2012. Cowan Entertainment focuses on event services and A/V system installation with corporate clients such as Loblaws and Chapters/Indigo. In 2013, Cowan Entertainment provided live audio services for the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats season.
When he is not working at events or with corporate clients, Dustin and Cowan Entertainment stay busy with home entertainment services such as custom home theatre design and will soon be offering full home automation solutions.
Through Cowan Entertainment, Dustin has had the opportunity to work on many projects, from small concerts to large-scale, multi-day productions. In the next few years, Dustin is looking forward to launching the big plans he has for his company.
