Alumni Update: Darrin Drugan and the 48 Music Project

Metalworks Institute’s Entertainment Business Management graduate Darrin Drugan (2012) is the Executive Producer for the 2015 48 Music Project, “this ultimate online international music competition is offering talented musicians from all over the globe an incredible opportunity to bag a management deal from one of the music industry’s top gurus in Hollywood”.

This unique competition is set apart from other music contests as applicants will compete in the online international contest and have 48 hours to write the lyrics, music, rehearse, produce, record and edit their own track.

Francesco Vitali is the mastermind behind the competition, he has built a reputation as a talent spotter and was also behind the 48 Go Green and 48 Film projects. Prizes for the 48 Music Project include the top 15 finalists receiving a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform their winning material in Hollywood in front of some of the biggest names in the music industry as well as a prize fund of $10,000 for the most impressive musicians, lyricists, composers and performers.
